A Library plays a vital role in the search of knowledge. It serves as the workshop for the entire college- students and faculty. C.R.D. ARYA MAHILA PG COLLEGE Library aims to support the teaching learning activity in the college and also provide the students updated knowledge and to ensure the optimum utilization of the available resources.

The library is part of the institution since its inception in 1990 with 150 No. of books. The library is situated on the top floor of the college wing. It occupies about 3000 Sq. ft. and can accommodate about 100 students at a time. The library is provided with proper ventilation, lighting and fans. At the present time almost 17224 collections of books are housed in the library. The library is led by Mrs. Shraddha Mishra.

DISTINCT FEATURES OF LIBRARY

• Our library is fully computerized with the implementation of SOUL 2.0 (Library software from INFLIBNET) along with Bar code system.
• Two Library cards are given to the students at the time of admission to borrow textbooks.
• Display of new arrivals in the library Newspaper cutting, current topics and new arrival books.
• Free internet access to students and staff.

• Leisure card is compulsory for getting access to the library.

• No personal belonging allowed inside the library.
• Issue books are not allowed to be taken inside the reading room.

Library has subscribed to “National Library and Information Services Infrastructure for Scholarly Content (N-List).” It is an initative of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) under the NME-ICT now funded by UGC, as college component under UGC- INFONET Digital Library Consortium. The consortium subscribes to the following resources for its UGC funded 12B colleges/ institutions. All electronic resources subscribed are available from the publisher’s web site.
